Hot Karl song w/ Mike Shinoda: "Like Riding A Bike"

Linkin Park fans may remember how LA-based artist Jensen Karp started up a podcast show called "Get Up On This" in 2011, with Mike Shinoda appearing as a guest on the very first episode. Over two-hundred episodes later, the LP lynchpin is being featured on the show once again: Jensen Karp has dusted off his rap stagename Hot Karl, picked up the mic and delivered a brand-new song with some of his friends called "Like Riding A Bike". Among them is Shinoda, who has not only brought his trademark Fort Minor-style production to the table (flipping a guitar part from a Janis Joplin song called "Piece Of My Heart") but also penned a fresh, punchy 16 bars to open the track as well.

This is the same track which Shinoda gave us a quick preview of via Snapchat last week. In addition to himself and Karp, the song also features verses by Jensen Karp's longtime friends Ali Abnormal and Intuition. Karp promises that it will be officially released for download on SoundCloud in less than a week, on June 7, coinciding with the release of his new memoir "Kanye West Owes Me $300: And Other True Stories from a White Rapper Who Almost Made It Big". Nonetheless, it was premiered in the latest episode of "Get Up On This" to close it out, so you can check it out here. Karp begins introducing it right after the 1-hour mark and the song starts playing at 1:00:48.

And this is what he sing:

Damn, Daniel, like the founder of Spotify
Streamin' freemium heat / your wounds'll get cauterised
Right in front of every fickle fan that you're followed by
Like blackhat hackers, you'll be lookin' for compromise
Your man's laughin' while we're watchin' you backpedal
The crowd's cringin' / you can't win / your attack's mellow
I'm half-hopin' you'll still rap when the laughs settle
Bodied by a singer from a band that did rap-metal?
Shit / I digress / where to start?
('Cause) whether I'm the biggest or I barely chart
Count wins on the tracks and the mic and art
I'm a legend in three games like I'm Jensen Karp
So irreverent / I tip-toe up
And whisper that you're more irrelevant than "Real World" Puck
Have you up at night, countin' all the reasons I suck
And I would love to hear about it but I ran out of fucks
